The Limpopo Transboundary Programme organized and provided logistics for the facilitation of a DSS-GIS (Decision Support System - Geographic Information System) course in Beitbridge from the 16th to hte 20th of January 2012.

The course followed a series of one to two day coaching exercise on the use od GPS, manipulation of the DSS and data management.

A total of eleven partecipants were drawn from the LTP stakeholders and in particular officers from the two RDC (Rural District Council - Beitbridge and Chiretzi), Department of Veterinary Services, Department of Livestock production and development and Zimbabwe Tourism Authority.

Facilitation team was drawn from Geo-Spatial Mapping Services based within the University of Zimbabwe in Harare.
